Chuo Kikuu Huria cha Tanzania (OUT) ni taasisi ya elimu ya juu inayotoa masomo kwa njia ya masafa, ikiwa na lengo la kutoa fursa za elimu kwa watu wengi zaidi nchini Tanzania na kwingineko. Chuo hiki kilianzishwa kwa Sheria ya Bunge Na. 17 ya mwaka 1992 na kimekuwa kikitoa programu mbalimbali za elimu kwa ngazi tofauti, kuanzia cheti hadi shahada ya uzamivu (PhD). Makao makuu yake yapo Dar es Salaam, lakini kinaendesha shughuli zake kupitia vituo vya mikoa 30 na vituo vya masomo 70, hivyo kurahisisha upatikanaji wa elimu kwa wanafunzi kutoka maeneo mbalimbali.

Fursa za Ufadhili na Mikopo katika Chuo cha Open University of Tanzania
OUT inatoa fursa mbalimbali za ufadhili na mikopo kwa wanafunzi wake. Wanafunzi wanaweza kuomba mikopo ya elimu ya juu kupitia Bodi ya Mikopo ya Elimu ya Juu (HESLB) kwa kufuata taratibu zilizowekwa.
